Today I went the grocery store for bathroom paper only but instead came out with a ton of magickal supplies and they were all pretty inexpensive! I bought an all-black glass that I am going to paint magickal symbols on to use as a magickal chalice and it was only a $1. I also got some red, blue, and purple taper candles that were $2.49 per pack. I also found 60pack incense sticks that were only $1.49 each, I bought the Vanilla, Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Frankincense. I also got a three pack of some small adorable double-purpose candle holders! Below I will list the correspondences of the candle colors, incenses scents and a little about chalices!
Candle Colors
Red: The Element of Fire, Sexual love, lust, passion, fire, willpower, courage, energy, strength, anger
Purple: Growth, self-esteem, psychic ability, insight, inspiration, spirituality, success in business
Blue: The Element of Water, truth, tranquility, protection, hope, honor, change, psychic ability
Incense Scents
Incenses are used in Air magick this is magick that you use to call upon the Element of Air. Incenses are also used to cleanse magickal tools and sacred space.
Frankincense - Draw upon the energy of the sun to create sacred space, consecrate objects, and stimulate positive vibrations
Patchouli - An earthy scent used in money and attraction spells
Sandalwood - A delicious all-purpose scent used to heal and protect, also for purification
Vanilla - Stimulate amorous appetites and enhance memory
Chalice
Chalices are cups that are used to represent the goddess. They are also associated with the Element of Water and remind us of the Goddess in the Great Rite ritual- a symbolic unification of the male and female energies in which the Athame is lowered into the chalice blessing whatever drink is inside be it wine or water.
